"Why did you lie to me?" Jason questioned with authority.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't you dare try to play dumb with me. There is nothing wrong with our baby, is there?" Doctor Jonathan couldn't answer and he lowred his gaze, staring down at his table, adding proof to doctor Brady's accusations.

"I'll ask you again doctor. Why. Did. You. Lie?" He asked slowly and doctor Jonathan suddenly started looking nervous. "Do you want me to involve the police?"

"No sir. I'm sorry, it wasn't my fault." He blurted out. "It was your mother in law sir, she said she didn't want her daughter to have your child, she said it would ruin her family and that was why I did it. You see sir, she and I go back a long way and I didn't want anything that would harm her or her family. I'm really sorry." He sounded apologetic and he couldn't look into Jason's eyes as he spoke.
