Tears streamed down Blake's face as she wiped them away with a blank expression, murmuring to herself, "I don't believe you're gone, just like that. If you haven't come back to look for me in three years, I'll go search for you myself.

Unbeknownst to Blake, two men observed her from a secluded corner of Ventropolis through surveillance footage. One chuckled. "This woman does have feelings for Kevin. She's been here almost a dozen times in a month. And she's about to get married, doesn't her husband mind?"

The other, holding a cup of coffee, added, "Who knows? Kevin doesn't know how to cherish a good woman."
