Chapter 595
Madelyn's shoes were gone, her feet were cut by sharp stones, but she didn't feel it. All she wanted was to get away from him.

She found herself on a peak of a mountain in a scenic park near Southern Haven Villas. The area was surrounded by mountains, with nothing but trees and a wild grassy field around, and a wide road that rarely saw any vehicles.

At the end of the peak was a cliff, with no protective railing. Zach's car was parked right on the edge, where the most beautiful sunrise could be seen.

The morning light shone on Madelyn, but she didn't feel its warmth. Instead, she felt cold and numb all over, and the blood beneath her feet was shockingly vibrant against the pale stones.
