CHAPTER 121

As Caleb stood on the sidewalk, his gaze fixed on the disappearing taxi, some of the crowd around him slowly dispersed, shooting him disapproving glances as they passed by.

Oblivious to their stares, Caleb was lost in his thoughts, his mind consumed by a whirlwind of regret and frustration.

He couldn't shake the feeling that if he hadn't sent Emily gifts through the broadcasting room, none of this would have happened. If he hadn't given her those rewards, then perhaps she wouldn't have been targeted by someone like William.

The thought of a stranger stealing his account, using his name to woo Emily, and potentially cheat on her filled Caleb with a sense of anger and helplessness.

He couldn't believe that his own actions had inadvertently led to such chaos in Emily's life.
