CHAPTER 13

Time stretched like an eternity as Marcus's impatience grew. He angrily shoved a chair, making everyone in the room flinch.

"Where the hell is this guy? It's been over an hour!" Marcus bellowed, his frustration boiling over.

Mario, with a smirk, approached Jessica, his words laced with a sinister tone. "He's not coming Bro, so forget it and let's have some fun." He walked up behind her, the unsettling scent of arrogance lingering as he audaciously sniffed her hair.

"Hm, you smell so good," he murmured, his words hanging in the air with an unsettling air of predatory intent. "I think we've already wasted enough time, right, guys?"

The cheers from the men echoed through the dimly lit room, intensifying the sense of impending dread.

"No stop! He'll come, just please give him more time," Jessica pleaded, her voice trembling with anxiety.
