Miss Mathews couldn't conceal the smirk that appeared on her lips as she nodded.

"Alright then, I'll let you both go, for now," she agreed readily.

She believed that if Miss Roberts had committed to resigning, Caleb's ability to purchase the villa the next morning must hold significance. If proven true, it presented an opportunity for Miss Mathews to earn a considerable commission solely from that villa.

On the other hand, if this was merely an act and Caleb couldn't afford the villa, she could effortlessly remove her rival from the company without any effort on her part. The prospect left her feeling quite content.

Regardless of whether Caleb showed up at the office the next morning or not, it wouldn't result in any losses for Miss Mathews personally.

Both seemed to be a win-win situation, and she was inclined to allow them to proceed as they pleased.

"Let's go, Mr. King," Miss Roberts muttered under her breath.
