Three Months Later,

Brock recoiled when the sun's rays struck him hard. He wasn't expecting that he would be hit by their malevolent touch. It didn't help that he had been indoors for the greater part of the month.

Days stretched in months that sometimes he lost hope that he would ever come out of this correctional facility which was akin to a hellhole.

His mother stood at the end of the carpark, ashamed that she had to come to pick up her son like a juvenile caught in delinquency. She would never understand what went through that boy's mind that made him act unseemly. Other people would be afraid that they would be caught for wrongdoing but nope not her son.

Over the last months that Brock had been in that facility, she enjoyed total peace, not having to look over her shoulder for any reason while she was trying to tell the whole world that her child was not detained, instead, he traveled.
