Brielle's phone rang loudly distracting her attention from the book she was reading and she hissed wondering who called. After checking, she saw that it was none other than Nikki.

She was surprised at the call wondering what could possibly be happening to make her call. "Hey, dear."

"I'm good. I called to inform you about the latest development in the company. Your husband is on the verge of losing his shares if he doesn't act fast. I heard that Liam has recruited some lawyers to backdate the document so that it expires soon. He's been angry so I wasn't able to pitch it to him."

Brielle was shocked at what she was hearing. Alex was stubborn and might not want to claim it immediately. "Okay, let's see what I can do .I'll get back to you. Do you have proof whatsoever that I can present to him?" She inquired.

"Yes, I do. I'll send it to you right now, should I expect a positive response from you soon? I don't want issues to arise because we weren't able to tackle it at the root level.
