"Oh, I've been waiting for you so long. Is there any reason you have been far from the house? Any specifics that I'm not aware of?" Grandma inquired from her and she smiled at her.

"Oh, there's nothing really wrong with me. I've just been trying to cope and do many things, you know? I've been out of touch for a while." Brielle replied with a fake smile. She'd rather be anywhere else than be with her family.

Grandma understood what she was trying to do but she wanted to make sure that it didn't happen. What was the joy in having children who were at loggerheads? "Are you sure it's not because of Brock? Ever since your return, you've been acting weird."

"Can you blame me?" She fired back. It was evident that everything that they were doing was to spite her and Alex but she wouldn't stand for that.
