The elders were speechless for a few minutes.

"What! You've seen Morris' face?" It was Stephen who asked, with shock on his face.

Derek nodded once. "I have," he muttered. "And well, he knew who I was as well. He recognized me which means war already started without the indication," he declared.

The elders mussed.

"What is your plan, boss? Because like I've said earlier, Morris isn't a soft man. He's not easily defeated."

"There's a plan but you will all have to get involved in it," He hesitated and regarded them for a moment. "I am going to show some of you what Morris looks like. Then we will start from there."

The elders nodded in agreement.

"Besides, Morris will be in the trillionaire meeting," Benson said suddenly.

Derek looked at him with shock. "He will?"

Benson nodded once. "Yes. He's the president. He has been the president for three consecutive terms now."

"Really?" Derek was shocked. "How come no one has taken from him?"

"Well." Benson shrugged slightly. "No one is fit eno

"Well, since you are the owner of Beacon Hills, you could have him fired."The manager's eyes widened with shock and fear gripped him instantly. "What!" Derek was the next to be shocked. She pulled out her phone as she hurried along the hallway and placed a call to Nick.Nick picked it up immediately. "Hello, Maribel.""Have you seen Clara?""Not yet," Nick said in a whisper. "How many rooms are in this estate?"Maribel made a quick calculation. "Maybe ten," she sighed. "So, that means you haven't come across any of Morris' men, right? Because I've just met Morris," she revealed."What! Morris!" Nick exclaimed softly. "How? Where?""He's the one in the master bedroom."Nick cursed under hi

So, he dropped the phone."Boss, have you located your sister?" Thomas asked.Derek shook his head briefly. "It looks like she has been taken already. How long does it take now?"Thomas looked down at the map. "Not more than ten minutes.""If she's already inside, then there's no way our earlier plan would work," Benson muttered.Derek didn't talk immediately. A lot of things were going through his mind. The earlier plan was simple. Annabelle was supposed to kill Clara and me

Maribel looked up, just as Clara moved closer."My father killed your father because he deserved it. However, she wanted to punch the stupid smirk off Clara's face."And you are so happy about it. Your father is a murderer and it pleases you?""Well, I don't care actually. Besides, I'm taking over my father from wherever he stops. So, why should it not please me?"Maribel looked away. "You don't have the tendency to speak to me, Clara. I used to be in your position. It's until he starts using you for his selfish means before you discover the kind of man he is."Clara laughed. "You know what, there's a difference between you and me. "I'm here on behalf of a relative. What about you? Don't tell me someone got sick in the family, is it your mother?""How did you-?" Amelia was stunned, but she quickly caught herself. "My mother is perfectly fine, Derek! Your bad wishes can never affect her health.""If you say so." Derek chuckled and turned to leave. He didn't have time to waste speaking to this woman. But Amelia's voice stopped him. "I can see you're doing better, Derek.""Of course. My life has been sailing smoothly ever since we got divorced. That's one thing I'm grateful for."Her face turned pale. "No matter how m

"Now!" Benson signalled his men, and they burst through the gates, opening fire on each and every thing on their way! Morris' men were very taken aback. They would require time to get into formation for defense. Before then, Benson reckoned they would have wiped out. But to his chagrin, they didn't take too long to adapt. Only a few got injured while the rest got into hiding and started exchanging fire. More men started to pour in from the mansion to join the assault, and soon Morris' men were overpowering Benson and his team that they had to retreat back outside the gates. "Where the fuck is Jack and his men, aren't they supposed to be attacking them from behind? The pressure on us is getting worse!" Benson yelled, moving to the foremost and targeting the leader of Morris' men. In his anger, he almost forgot to take cover and a bullet grazed past his arm, almost hitting him. "Be careful, Boss. If you get injured, who will lead us?" someone shouted from behind, but Benson was ad

Dominic was able to keep the little girl mute until they all jumped over the fence. "Are you a bad man? Why're you sneaking in, instead of using the front gate?" she asked innocently, not an ounce of fear in her eyes. "Because we're here to meet a friend, and we don't want to disturb the rest of the nun's dinner! Now, come with me." Dominic dragged her along with his men, pressing his hand against her lips.He couldn't risk alerting any other person at this point. They approached the Head Nun's garden, got in, and peeked into the room through the window. "We just have to climb in and abduct her from here. "After you guys attack. I'll try to protect Sophia while leading Morris on. A few of you would join me in attacking him then." Derek continued. "His men would be distracted by the sudden attack, I'll use that chance to get Sophia to safety.""What if struggle ensues between you and the person holding her hostage?" Benson asked an obvious question. "That will be in your hands, Benson. Immediately after leading your men in, locate Sophia first from a place of hiding. You should be able to kill the man holding her hostage with our special submachine gun." Derek rubbed his chin in thought. If the plan proceeded that way, this meant he was willing to place Sophia's safety in Benson's hands. Derek tried to push every thought of her getting hurt away. There was no other way they could approach it. He would be so busy with getting Morris down that he might not be able to look out properly for her. "I think that should be all?" Derek sat up.
