Chapter 107: Ruined plan

"We have to stop her! We need to stop her," Sophia muttered with fear. She couldn't stop panicking.

Annabelle might die for real. She might not be able to make it this time around.

Derek felt even more frustrated. He mentally slapped himself. He was never going to forgive himself if anything bad happened to Annabelle.

"What are you going to do now?"

Derek looked at Sophia. "She did state where she was going and what we are actually going to do."

Sophia nodded once. "Alright."

"And you have to go home, Sophia."

Sophia shook her head briefly. "I'm not going anywhere until I hear that everything is fine."

Derek turned to Sophia again. He slowly pulled her closer so that she was forced to stare up at him. He was two inches taller.

"I've got this, Sophia. Trust me but you also need to be alright, you know right?"

Sophia nodded once, captivated by his eyes. She had been slowly getting so mesmerized by Derek that she wasn't sure if she was ever going to stop.
