"Leave now, boy. This is the last chance for you to rethink your decision or you will definitely die!" The man pointing the gun at Derek threatened.

Elsie shivered beside Derek, almost going numb. She knew that Derek was going to make a decision that won't favour her. Well, she wouldn't blame him after all.

There was no way he would sacrifice his life for her. And the thought alone scared her. She saw a flash of her life. She was going to die eventually and so was her mother.

She felt regretful that she was going to be the cause of her mother's death and she was never going to forgive herself till she breathed her last.

There was a sudden gunshot and Elsie closed her eyes and expected the worst.

It was actually the man that went down as one of Derek's men shot him before he would pull the trigger at Derek.

Derek took Elsie's hand and hurried away, behind the table close by. He pulled it down and made it a shield for them.

Elsie opened her eyes when she felt a large hand engulf
