Chapter 67: A meeting

Suddenly, the weight on her pulled off. She released a breath and coughed severally because she was already gagging.

Maribel looked up and saw that four of her men were fighting off Benson's men.

She closed her eyes for a moment as pain rushed into her.

"Boss, I will escort you," one of them said.

Maribel managed a nod. The man moved closer, slipped his arm beside her, and pulled her up.

Maribel could barely walk a few minutes when she lost consciousness.

Benson cursed when he saw this but there was nothing he could do about it. It looks like Maribel was going to escape after all.

"Pull back!" He ordered as he watched Maribel's men move away.

One of the men rushed back to Benson. "Boss, what should we do now?"

"Get inside. We are getting everything useful or suspicious in the house," he announced and stepped inside with the men.

Derek placed a call to Jason. "I will be getting off work very soon. There's something I would like to ask you. So, where should we meet?"
