Chapter 87: The same Mole

It was impossible! Clara was Morris' daughter but Derek couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Boss! She's lying! Don't believe her!" Thomas said quickly.

Derek watched her for a moment. It was at that moment that he remembered who she looked like. She had a resemblance that matches his mother.

The way her face contoured when she looked surprised and the way her face shifted when she smiled.

Yet, it wasn't possible.

"Leave us," Derek said suddenly.

Thomas looked at Derek as if he didn't hear correctly.

"I will like a few minutes with her, alone," he ordered.

Thomas nodded once, bowed slightly, and walked out.

Derek waited for Thomas to successfully step out of the room before he pulled a chair closer to Maribel.

"I can see a familiar look on your face, Clara. You seem to have a lot of questions."

Maribel regarded him for a moment. "I would rather ask my father, actually, because I can't possibly believe my enemy."

"And what makes me your enemy? Because your father chose me to be one?"
