Sound confident, and ready for the position you’re about to take. The reason I’m having faith in you is because you have once headed a firm. So, please I have helped you up to this level, the best you could do is to act good enough for them to be convinced.”“I will try my possible best. It’s just like an interview.”“Yeah, you could put it that way,” Adrian said as he urged them to both leave the store. He had about fifteen minutes left, and that was actually the reason he came over to a store that was not far from the company. In about three minutes, they got t

I've got this under control. Just relax and follow things the way they ought to play out.” Adrian said to him, hoping he wasn't also going to mess things up with his little faith. When it was about time for their meeting, Adrian went to meet with Nathan Reeds at a particular garage and Nathan was the one who picked the location.“So, you are the man who sent my niece to jail, then! Who are you, and what do you own?” He questioned, with his brows, raised.“Oh, come on. Do I have to be someone on your level, before I can send your niece to jail?” Adrian questioned and scoffed as he dipped his hands into his pockets.“For a young man, you are quite bold and daring. Anyways, today will be the day you learn your lesson.” As Nathan said that, his men be

So, the only sound that could be heard, was the AC.“If he were awake, I would have used a pendulum, but in his sleep state, I could also work on him. The cool atmosphere can also help, so I’ll need perfect silence, alright? Even though he makes any noise, or does anything you don’t expect, don’t make a noise.”“Alright, just hurry up with it. We don’t have much time. I just need this done with.” Adrian uttered, trying to show how urgent it was.He had so many things to

His eyes became fuzzy, and his head also felt so heavy that it became so difficult to raise. His breath was heavy and raspy as well, and his body went limp.Just before his eyes went shut, the door barged open, and although Adrian couldn’t hear a thing, a high-piercing sound filled his ears.He didn’t know who came in; if it was an enemy or a friend, and what intent they had as they came in, but he hoped he wasn’t going to die so soon, and even before dealing with his enemies.~The next time he opened his eyes, he was in a ward, in the hospital. Adrian!” He called out to him, and shook him to get a hold of himself.Adrian opened his eyes with cold beads of sweat on his forehead, then he looked at Lucas, and looked at his stomach, but there was no wound or anything.“The man who just left. Did you see any man?” Adrian asked, looking baffled.“No. You were the only one in the hallway. What’s going on?”Adrian checked his stomach again and confirmed that nothing had really happened to him, and if he were to believe Lucas, it meant that something was wrong with his mind.“Did Rose drop a contact?” Adrian asked as Lucas helped him up.“Oh! Yeah, yeah, she did. Is there a problem?” Lucas asked again, completely confused on what exactly was going on with Adrian.“I need to ask her a question. I just saw a man, and you claim there was no man. And… he stabbed me. But I can’t see any trace of any wound on me.”“

The next day, Adam arrived at Adrian’s home and he was ushered to Adrian’s room.“Gosh. This is the purple rash. Extremely dangerous.”“Oh, my goodness.” Sophie said softly and placed her hand over her mouth.“It’s a reaction of a particular drug which has been long forgotten, so, not many people would have its antidote. Even I do not have the antidote. But I know someone who might have it. They are a group of men who are into drug business and might have the antidote you are looking for. But you must play it carefully with them.” Adam informed them.“Give us an address. We’ll head right there. Been waiting for this day, and now, I finally have it.” He uttered.Adrian managed to sit up, but was still feeling a little light-headed, so he leaned on the pillows that were provided for him.“Who are you?” Adrian asked, followed by a grunt.“I am Arthur Wilson, son of Steve Wilson whom you took down.” He introduced himself, now looking serious.Even though Adrian saw the resemblance, he was still shocked that it was truly Steve Wilson’s son. Since he was the one, it meant he was out to take revenge.“I see you’re here to take revenge for your father. But let me tell you one thing. Your revenge is no way justified.” Adrian said, with clenched teeth.Arthur cackled and did a one-time spin, then moved closer to Adrian.“You really think you get to decide what’s justified or not? You must be kidding me. My father might have
