Seeing the diminishing smile on Claire's face was kind of scaring Mason, he had thought about it and he had concluded that Claire was the best person to ask such a question. Although he was closer to old Greg and maybe it might have been easier to ask him, Claire had been the only one open enough to tell him about his past and everything he had come to know about the great seven. As he watched the smile on Claire's face turn into a frown, it was immediately washed off and the usual smile plastered on her face. " Who told you about the initiation? " Claire said gently.Mason knew there was no need to lie , so he decided it would be best to tell the truth. " I over heard the council talking about it the other day" " I see, well there is nothing wrong with you knowing about the initiation, we didn't tell you about it because we thought it wasn't time yet. But I guess since you have heard about it, it's best I tell you, " Claire said, sipping from the glass of wine in her hand. Mason
The last person Mason expected to see at an event like this was the exact person standing in front of him, Mason was beginning to think that maybe it was all in his imagination or maybe the wine was taking effect. But then he knew all these were false, Lalisa was standing right before him in flesh and blood, and she was just as shocked as Mason was or even more. Her mouth had been open since she laid eyes on Mason who looked totally different from the Mason she once knew. It was until Mason spoke that she finally realized that she needed to close her mouth. " You should close your mouth before a fly goes into it, " Mason said, trying to hide his own shock. " Mason, is this really you? " Lalisa asked, still finding it hard to believe he was really the one in front of her. He was totally different, a fine clean well ironed black suit was on his body,a nice pair of black shoes, and his hair was well combed backwards with the right amount of hair lotion. She could perceive the scent
Earlier after Nicholas left to purchase the food, Mason had felt like he wanted to use the toilet, he was looking to ease himself and he couldn't just hold it any longer. Of course he could have just gone to the eatery to meet Nicholas, surely they would have toilets in there, but Mason wasn't really used to this flashy lifestyle yet, he would look for a lonely quiet place to ease himself instead. Getting out of the vehicle, Mason rolled the tinted glass up, and as he stood beside the car he decided to wait a little to see if Nicholas would come out. After waiting for About 2 mins and it didn't look like Nicholas would be coming out anytime soon, Mason gently began to walk down the street. The street was a little scanty with a few people outside so he thought it wasn't that bad. No one would really be able to recognize him anyway, at least that was what he thought. As he continued walking, his eyes caught an alley, it was a little darker in there and Mason thought it was the perf
During the ride home, Nicholas, who was busy explaining how terrified he was when he found out that Mason was no longer in the vehicle earlier, noticed that Mason was lost in his own thoughts, smiling to himself and staring out the side window, clearly not paying any attention to whatever Nicholas was blabbing about. As the vehicle cruised through the busy street, Mason's mind was full, her blue eyes, silver hair, red rosey full lips was all that occupied his mind. To Mason, she was practically the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, she was not just beautiful, she had come to his rescue, prying him away from the hands of those predators. Mason didn't want to even think about what would have happened if she hadn't showed up. Everything about her was perfect, her voice, her slim petite figure, her well toned skin, everything was just in place. The young master didn't really know the way he was feeling right now, the last time he felt this way was when he first met Lalisa, his ex-gi
Keeping items of the old for future references was always a very good choice for any person or organization to follow , as it will surely come in handy at any point in time. If all these weren't stored right here at the basement which was now referred to as the stone cave, maybe Mason and others before him wouldn't even know the things they knew right now. Standing in front of the huge framed picture on the wall, Mason could see the picture of his ancestor, Stark himself, the very first person who had actually created the Starks. Noticing that Claire had now moved on to the next picture which was positioned far after a few more pictures, Mason's eyes darted as he gently took a few steps forward and was now standing right beside Claire. Now he could clearly see the picture she was staring at, it was a picture of a lady who seemed to be in her early 40s, she had a slight smile on her face and a head full with silver hairs which was braided in pairs as they ran down her back with a f
The Stark was more like a brotherhood, although it doesn't accommodate evil, it has been a brotherhood few years after lord stark himself, the original creator of the Starks created the Stark company in his name.He had initially created the company for just his direct bloodline which consisted of his family, kids and their generations to come. But then there was no way it would grow if it was only meant to be managed by only his direct bloodlines, so he had created a brotherhood, which grew to be more like the pillars of the Starks. This brotherhood was more like a clan, which consists of anyone who was found trustworthy, and dedicated to serving the Starks till their last breath. But it was actually more of those having the blood of Lord Stark in their veins. This brotherhood has been the main power of the Starks , they have held the Starks and have successfully taken the Starks to the top making it one of the most powerful companies in the world. Out of the seven great companie
The initiation trials were something that was done to those eligible for the crown and the leadership of the Starks. These trials were done to test or rather to build the participant in question, it tests their durability, how long they would survive in there. Although one could die in there, it was less likely to be the case, as no one in the history of the Starks had died while carrying out the initiation trials. There was a belief that says, if one was a true bloodline of Lord Stark, the founder of the Starks, then they won't die inside the trial space no matter how long they seem to stay in there. But if a person who was not a direct or true bloodline of lord Stark enters the trial space, then they would surely die. No one really knows how true this was as it had never been tested before. The initiation trials were like a game, divided into stages, with each stage designed for a different purpose, and somehow it gets tougher by each stage. As Mason stood on the step, hand still
It all seemed like a dream to Mason, he was totally shocked and confused with what was happening around him, he had only seen things like this in the movies, never had he thought that he would withness or come across something like this. Was it a kind of technology? Or was it magic ? Or witchcraft? Mason was so confused that he felt his knees weakening. Earlier when he touched the glowing exit at the top of the staircase which was written on a kind of hard material something had happened, something that left his mouth wide open even up to this moment. As soon as his palm touched the exit, the whole of his surroundings began to change right in front of him. The topography, the terrain and every other thing changed , it wasn't just a little change, it was a huge change that had made him begin to wonder if it was a kind of new technology or maybe it was magic or witchcraft. The once blue room began to varnish, huge thick trees sprouted out of the ground, in place of the blue ceiling,
