Chapter 106

Around 10 pm, Kelvin and Katherine drive into the compound with the convoy. He stole glances at her, wearing an ambitious smile driven by love and care. Their eyes met, and she chuckled.

“Did you have fun tonight?" He asked, and she gasped with a smile on her lips.

“Are you kidding me? Tonight was a hell of fun! Thank you."

“Thank you? What for?" He asked, and she rotated her eyes towards the other direction.

“For putting a smile on my face. Tonight was special, and I'm glad I get to experience such with you." She muttered, stealing glances at him, and he scoffed.

A short silence to charge, while Kelvin struggled to find the best thing to say to her. At this point, he wasn't entirely sure if he was being nice because of the tragedy that befell her. Only one thing we certain, he wanted her to be happy.
