Chapter 130

Two days later, Gregory and Mariana's relationship became known to both families. He had phoned her to announce his arrival, but he couldn't reach her phone.

He drove down to her house in Boston, and when he got there, the house was quiet even though the door was unlocked. Entering the house, a fantastic smell of barbecue sauce was coming from the kitchen.

He walked down the kitchen, but there was no one. Surely she had just finished making something. The aroma of her food smells across the kitchen down to the sitting room.

“Mariana," he called, but there was no response. He asked to the room impatiently. As he opened the door, she jumped on him with a joyful scream, a clear sign of her happiness.

“Hey," he smiled back at her and kissed her lips.

He took her to the bed, and they collapsed on the bed.

“What are you up to? I noticed you prepared something delicious. Please can we eat already? I'm famished." He said, and she chuckled.
