Chapter 141

Pamela lay on the sofa white decorated bed in her prison room. Her eyes had gone pale due to excessive crying. She got proper attention, however, her freedom which was the most crucial thing she craved was denied to her.

As she stared at the wall with sadness all over her, it dawned on her that crying wasn't the best option at that moment. She had to find a way and get the hell out of the place.

A knock came on the door, but as usual, she didn't care to attend to it. The door opened, and the young man ushered himself into the room. It was Elias, the young man assigned to watch over her.

“Are you already, Pamela?" He called, but there was total silence. She ignored his call and shut her eyes

“Pamela?" He called again, and she rolled over the bed and shot a glare at him.

“What is it?"

“I'm asking a question. Are you alright? Do you need me to get you anything?" He asked again, his voice soft and compassionate. She scoffed with a mockery on her lips and shook her head disappointedly.
