Chapter 23

It was early on a Saturday morning. Inside General Orlando's compound, Kelvin and Uncle Theo alighted from the car. A few minutes ago, a fleet of luxurious vehicles had flocked into the compound.

Uncle Theo dashed forward, with a smile on his face, on seeing the general walking towards him, with his hands spread wide in the air.

Kelvin followed him behind, counting his steps, to ensure he wasn't walking faster than him. His eyes traveled around the compound, observing everything of interest.

There was a red garden by his left, he stared at the beautiful red flowers, until Uncle Theo's voice called his name, drawing his attention. As he was about to turn and face his front, he sighted a girl in the garden.

He felt a rush of emotions, and it was strange. "Who is that? And why is she familiar?" He thought, but Uncle Theo called his name again, and he fastened his step.
