Alex knew he couldn't run the business and, at the same time, follow up on what was going on around him. He decided to reach out to his aunt, whom he trusted to take care of the family business. "Hello, Aunt," Alex said, beaming with a smile.

"Alex Davis. It's been a while." Miranda Holmes said it with a smile etched on her face.

It had been a while since she had seen him; it was after the death of John Davis and when the will was read at everyone's hearing.
