Alex exhaled slowly, rubbing his temple as he thought about Agent Miller's words. He knew taking matters into his own hands could backfire, but waiting for the legal process seemed too slow, especially with Paulina's life in danger. He needed a solid plan, something that would give him the upper hand without compromising his principles. He looked up like he was gazing into the stars.

"Alright, Miller," Alex finally said. "I'll keep you updated. But we can't just sit around. Xavier and Charlotte are planning something big, and we need to stay one step ahead."

"I understand, Alex," Miller replied, his tone softening. "We'll do everything by the book, but we need to be smart. Gather as much evidence as you can, and I'll work on getting the necessary warrants. We also need to have the Commission trapped in this case. It could be a huge victory for us."

Alex nodded, even though Miller couldn't see him. "I'll do that. Thanks, Miller."
