Alex swiftly regained his composure, hiding the envelope behind his back as Andrew walked into the room. "Oh, I was just looking at some old papers," Alex casually responded, his heart still pumping from the intense moments earlier. He shut the safe and then faced Andrew, trying to look calm.

Andrew arched an eyebrow, intrigued. "Is there anything exciting?" he asked as he moved nearer to the safe.

Alex casually shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not interested," he replied, attempting to shift Andrew's focus from the safe. "Only some outdated documents that were left by my grandfather."

Andrew agreed, acknowledging Alex's clarification. "Okay, if that's what you believe," he replied, with a hint of doubt in his voice. "Are there any other things you require?"

"No, that's everything for now, Andrew." "Thank you," Alex responded, keen to wrap up the conversation and have some time alone with his thoughts.
