Chapter 24

"I will deal with Greg," Matt swore under his breath.

He put his hands in his pocket and brought a hanky with which he wiped the beads of perspiration on his face and his neck. He has not gone home for the past two days, neither had he eaten any good food since then.

Without his car or any allowances, he couldn't even book an Uber to where he was going or even order a breakfast from fast food restaurants. He was left with no choice but to rely on public transportation.

Now standing under the scorching sun and waiting for a cab, he fanned himself with his hankie, he had made a very bad choice coming out under the summer sun while putting on a black hoodie.

He glanced around, hoping to spot a taxi that would take him where he needed to go.

The busy street was filled with honking cars and bustling pedestrians, making it difficult to hail a cab.
