Chapter 21

“Ugh! That bastard really stressed me today” Alex sighed as he finally got home. He was too tired to drive so he took the bus instead and got more weird and harsh remarks. He blamed the young lad at the store for making him drain all his strength on those scumbags.

His tired and frustrated look was suddenly replaced by a smile, he had remembered the sumptuous delicacies waiting for him at the dining area and he couldn’t wait to dig into them but he has to freshen up first. His hands were stained with blood and his body was sweaty but before he freshens up, he wanted to speak with the chef.

“Steve!” he yelled out to the head chef. The elderly man was in the room in the next few seconds.

“Oh. How are you doing?” Alex asked, smiling widely.

“ Fine young master” Steve replied with his head bowed. Alex sighed. He was previously known to be strict and commanding but the three years bet had changed him, the workers still feared him though.

“Okay. The dishes are ready right?” he asked.

“Yes.
