“Ugh! That bastard really stressed me today” Alex sighed as he finally got home. He was too tired to drive so he took the bus instead and got more weird and harsh remarks. He blamed the young lad at the store for making him drain all his strength on those scumbags.

His tired and frustrated look was suddenly replaced by a smile, he had remembered the sumptuous delicacies waiting for him at the dining area and he couldn’t wait to dig into them but he has to freshen up first. His hands were stained with blood and his body was sweaty but before he freshens up, he wanted to speak with the chef.

“Steve!” he yelled out to the head chef. The elderly man was in the room in the next few seconds.

“Oh. How are you doing?” Alex asked, smiling widely.

“ Fine young master” Steve replied with his head bowed. Alex sighed. He was previously known to be strict and commanding but the three years bet had changed him, the workers still feared him though.

“Okay. The dishes are ready right?” he asked.

Isaac was shocked that his master could plan something so unique and smart, he had expected him to maybe report the families to his grandfather or fight dirty with them but he wouldn’t. He would prefer turning them against each other and watch them drag themselves down. “It wouldn’t be fun going details into my plans so I just gave you a summary. Just watch things unfold.” Alex finally said after the longest laughter.“Why do you look so surprised though?” he asked. “That’s the smartest idea I have ever heard. It’s so epic and different from what anybody would have done” Isaac replied.“Okay. It gets more interesting as it unfolds. Secrets known and unknown would be made public, just get ready. But before then, I would like you to run few errands for me” Alex said, twirling in his chair and chewing on his pen cap.“ Sure young master. It was just few minutes past three pm and the afternoon sun was at its peak. Its golden ray shined into the room through the large glass view behind Alex desk, casting a shadow on the desk and floor. Alex twirled in his chair and Jason question rang in mind.“Why are you doing this? Why are you helping me and what do you want from the Adams family?” Jason had asked before he walked out. Alex was dumbfounded for a while as he thought deeply about his main reason for having this plan. He wanted equality, he wanted freedom and justice. The “five families” has always had their way and they have had they domination for way too long. Alex knew it was the right time someone put them in their place, someone has to check them and their arrogance. He wanted every person in Orange City to be had equally privileged as the five families. Enough of discrimination and humiliation.“Someone has to and why not me? It has been going on for way too long and it has to stop” Alex replied, his voice cold a

The men are ready anytime you need them and they pledge their loyalty to you” Isaac replied and Alex smiled.“Thank you Isaac. Just wait till I instruct you further. I would let you know when the men are needed” Alex said.“Okay young master. I need to leave now to attend to some other matters. Alex walked into noisy space just ten minutes past 8pm. He had taken his bath in a rush and immediately headed out to the bar. The bar was filled with different people of high caliber. The atmosphere in the club wasn’t a regular club atmosphere, it oozed wealth and influence. Alex immediately knew the Edward family heir would be around somewhere. The detailed documents he had read earlier made it known that he would always be here every Wednesday from 6pm till whenever he was ready to go home. Alex had waited this long to come here because he wanted him to get tipsy so getting him drunk won’t be a problem. He looked at the club again and chuckled at the number of rich heirs he saw, they all sat in clique with pride and arrogance. Alex knew the lesson learnt from the outcome of the Adams and Edward family would teach them a little dignity and respect. He took a seat by the bar stand and looked around for the young man. A sharp voice immediately got his attention.“Excuse me?” The voice

His friends anger skyrocketed as soon as that statement left my mouth. Some of them murmured and pointed at me in annoyance while some of them approached me even more angry than before.“And who the heck do you think you are to challenge the heir of the Edward family like that? What makes you think he would agree to you lowlife challenge just to drink with you huh?” they agreed, hitting his chest an pushing him. Alex said nothing but a smirk was plastered on his face like he was glad to successfully make them more angry. His expression added to their anger and they were just about to throw him out of the club when a voice was heard.“Stop!” the voice yelled and they froze. All activities in the club seems to listen to his voice as everyone looked at his table for a while before things went back to normal. Alex smiled, his plan worked. That was a power move in and of itself. As they got closer to the Parker Foundation Annual Charity Auction door, Isaac, dressed like the most unobtrusive piece of furniture in the world, handed him a black folder."Are you certain about this?" Isaac muttered as he looked over the sandstone stairs that led to the structure. "You had the option of sending someone else to keep an eye on the room."Alex looked up at the big hall, which was owned by Parker, had been painstakingly restored, and was adorned with banners promoting "Urban Renewal through Private Partnership." Perched atop a verdant hill, the Simon residence resembled a boutique hotel rather than a home. high arches. broad driveways. The guests all parked themselves, but there were uniformed valets. Soft jazz murmured through the open windows within. The back garden was covered with a big buffet table filled with expensive foods, including tiny crab cakes, some indistinguishable mousse in glass spoons, and skewers that looked more ornamental than actually been edible. Plate in hand, Alex watched the gathering with mild interest as he leaned against a pillar next to the open French doors. He was dressed in pants that were a tad too casual for the event and a simple white button-up shirt. Although his loafers were polished, it didn't take away from the reality that he didn't fit in
