Chapter 2

Right in front of him was his wife, Ella lying on the couch naked, on top of her was a naked short chubby man.

At that moment, Alex felt his worldview crash as he couldn't believe his eyes. His wife was having sex with someone else. No, he didn't want to accept it, but he had to accept it.

He had always thought that she loved him as she was the only one who treated him rather nicely. But then it turned out that it was all a farce. She was a devil under the clothing of an angel.

"Ella," Alex called out as he was unable to hold back anymore.

Immediately, Ella, who was not far from him, shivered violently. She heard the voice and immediately pushed the man on top of her away and rushed to stand putting on some clothes.

"Alex...Alex what are you doing here...." Ella shuttered as she looked at Alex.

"What am I doing here?" Alex frowned as his eyes burned in fury.

"Should you be asking me that question or should I ask you that Instead." Alex breathed in as he tried to suppress his surging anger.

"I...." Ella shuttered not knowing what to say.

"Ella, are you scared of this good-for-nothing?" A loud chuckle came and a figure walked to the scene.

"Jean!" Alex frowned as he looked at the figure.

She was his wife's best friend and she had always expressed her disdain towards him. Besides from the way she was, he was sure that she was also participating in the orgy party.

"Don't you dare call my name?" Jean sneered as she looked at Alex in disgust.

"Ella, are you seriously scared of this good-for-nothing?" Jean frowned as she turned to Ella who looked like she was panicking.

"Seems like you don't want the project again right." Jean continued after some time.

"Alex, get out!" Ella suddenly yelled as she looked at Alex.

"I should get out?" Alex muttered in disbelief as he looked at Ella.

It was as though she had become a changed person in just a second. He could see the disgust and disdain in her eyes.

"Yes, get out!" Ella yelled as she pointed at the door.

"But..."

"Just fucking get out, who the hell did you think you are?" Ella sneered.

She had always loathed Alex since the time she had gotten married to him. She didn't know what her grandfather was thinking then to make her get married to the good for nothing.

Though she didn't treat him with disdain, she wasn't nice to him and always had a passive stance towards him. Her family's company was in a dire state and she needed help.

Her husband was just too useless and she couldn't ask him for help, the only option she had was the one her best friend presented to her, feeling that it wasn't too much, she agreed.

Who would have thought that the good for nothing would come and try to spoil everything? At this moment, the hatred she had been hiding for three years came bursting out.

She could care less about anything and just wanted to get rid of the good for nothing. She was tired of being stuck with someone like him.

Alex sighed and shook his head before turning around to walk out of the room. It seemed like he was wrong right from the start. His wife never loved him. She had hated him, but he had failed to notice it.

"Allow me to let you know some things." Jena's laughter suddenly came just as Alex was about to walk out of the room.

"You see, some things are not based on pure luck or fate." Jean chuckled as she looked at Alex.

"Some things are planned by us humans and then others end up thinking it's fate." Jean laughed as she walked back toward the man who was waiting for her.

At that moment, Alex felt his world shatter into pieces. According to what Jean had said just now, everything was planned.

Jean was the one who had made the head waiter send him to the room so he would be able to see this. Besides, his wife was not remorseful of what she had done.

Seemed like he had underestimated the evil of the human heart. Alex shook his head as he walked along the corridor.

He was like a hollow at the moment as he walked along the corridor. What he had seen just now had shaken the depth of his soul.

What he had believed in for three good years all came crashing down in just a few minutes. He was very unlucky.

"Hey, have you delivered the service cart?" A voice came just as Alex was about to walk out of the bar.

Alex raised his head as he looked at the head waiter, before turning around ignoring him, and walking out of the bar.

"How dare you ignore me." The head water flew into a rage seeing Alex ignore him.

It'll be better if you don't ever return." The man fumed as he watched Alex walk away.

Alex shook his head, he couldn't care less about the threat of the latter. What he saw in the room was still replaying in his head and he couldn't believe his wife was someone like that.

It felt as though he was dreaming, but then that was the truth, no one was lying to him. He didn't know what to think or how to feel. All that he had planned had come crumbling to the floor.

If only she was a little bit more patient and she didn't listen to that friend of hers, then all that wouldn't have happened.

But no, she went ahead and listened to her friend, now all she was supposed to get was now in the dust. He wasn't going to take a look at her in the future.

It was impossible for him to do so in the future. She was going to regret it and he was sure.
