Chapter 100

Oscar brought out a wad of cash and handed it over to Arthur who took the money and chuckled. "You're giving me some money."

Oscar nodded his head and from the corner of his eyes, he saw the taxi driver giggle which made him begin to wonder if he had done something wrong.

"Ugh, is there anything wrong with giving you some money? Maybe you should use it for your cab fare." Oscar suggested but Arthur refused and tried to return the money but the man would not take it back.

"It has left my bag and can't be returned so it's now yours. See you when you come around."

With that, Oscar left the money for him and went back to his car while Arthur and the taxi driver watched him drive off.

Staring at the money on his hand, Arthur could not help but start laughing while the cab driver giggled. Oscar must have thought of him as a pauper. The man thought that Arthur was managing because he was no longer with his father.
