Chapter 158

Jesse eyed her sister but didn't say anything else. There was no use arguing with her because she won't win.

“Whatever, don't you dare cause any trouble.” Jesse replied to her.

Meanwhile, Arthur went to visit his Dad where he spent the whole night. When it was time for him to go home, he made his way outside the gate.

“Arthur.” He heard someone call out his name and turned to see Janet standing outside. She had left Jesse's residence and decided to come to the McCains’ home.

She had earlier wanted to drive to Arthur's villa at Salem street but decided against it. Janet believed that Arthur wouldn't be home at such a time and was right indeed.

He went to spend time with his father after leaving his workplace.

“What are you doing here?” Arthur asked in a cold and distant voice.

Janet didn't say anything and began to approach him but he walked away and made his way to the car. However, Janet was quick and blocked his path.
