Jesse's response was a glare. “You ungrateful young lady. Is that the thank you I get for bringing some food to you?”

Jenny turned and blew kisses in the air for her sister. “You're the best sis.”

She continued towards the kitchen and helped herself with the dishes. By the time she came out, Jesse had gone to her room. Jenny quickly ate her food and ran to Jesse's room.

The latter had just finished freshening up and was dressing up for bed.

“I hope you enjoyed your meal?” Jesse asked nonchalantly as she went to the dressing table to apply her skin care products for the night.

“Hmm, it was so delicious. I enjoyed every bit of it. Although it's too much and I had to keep the remainder in the refrigerator for tomorrow since I couldn't finish it.”

Jesse didn't say anything.

After a long pause, Jenny went ahead and sat on the table before her sister. There was a little space at the place so she sat and stared intently at the busy Jesse.
