"Bryan! What happened to your head?" Rosaline's question caused him to stop in his tracks. Turning around, he scratched his head and stammered. "I-I sli… I slipped and fell on the floor."

Standing to her feet, Rosaline started towards Bryan and stopped before him. Lifting her hand over his head, she tilted it so her eyes could see the injury well. It was just a small patch at the back of his head but Rosaline didn't see it as such.

"How and where did it happen? Tell me the truth. Did you get into a fight with anyone?"
