With his mouth agape, Arthur stood there for a while and kept staring at the elevator even though the girl was no longer in his sight.

"What just happened? Why is she acting that way?" Arthur mumbled incoherently to himself. He glanced around the place with furrowed brows and promised to get to the root of the matter.

The girl was being intimidated by someone.

With a resolute mind, Arthur scurried into the elevator just to catch up with the girl. As soon as he got out, she was nowhere to be found.

He browsed the place with his eyes and found that there was no one who looked like the girl around the place. She had disappeared among the crowd of people. Unfortunately, he found something else. Janet was at the mall with two of her friends.
