As James exited the office, Collins menacingly warned Laura that she'd have to repay the $5 million he had given James from the house payment.

"Please, sir, don't do this to me," pleaded Laura. "James said you should give me my salary."

"You've done this to yourself. Is James the owner of my business? You will work for the gift I gave him. If you had attended to him well enough, I might not have given him the money." he spat

"I was only trying to help you, sir. I didn't know he was now rich. He didn't beg for a gift; he wanted to pay, but you stopped him." she explained

Collins scowled, "You dare speak back, you've grown wings. Let's see how far your gut will help you today"

"I don't have the guts to speak back at you, sir. Maybe I should call James to come and pay the remaining money that you were planning to give him." she retorted

Anger surged in Collins when he heard that Sarah wanted to call James back, and he threatened her to cover his skin. He didn't want to lose face in Jam
