The day had come to a close, and Tonia found herself prepared to return Liam to Lucas's home. As she stood before the mirror, a weird resolve written on her features, a subtle shift washed over her normal choice of dress.

"Liam, mommy's going to look her best today," Tonia stated with a forced cheerfulness, attempting to disguise the underlying motivation for the metamorphosis.
