Chapter 43

Althon woke up refreshed. He exercised on the beach and in the yard. “This is my last day on Mande Island. I have to go back to training and studying tomorrow. This vacation has been a lot of fun.”

Althon rested in the courtyard, sipping a drink. “I thought Alvin and Alicia would come prank me again, but nothing happened last night. I'm pretty disappointed. They looked tired.”

Althon smiled when he saw Alvin coming out of the hotel. “You look very happy, Alvin. You must have slept very well.”

Alvin snorted in annoyance. “Shut your mouth, Althon!”

Alvin clenched his fists tightly, sitting on the sofa. He had barely slept all night due to fear. Agnes' father had called him so many times that he was forced to lie about Agnes. “I don't want to experience anything bad like Noah.”

Alvin let out a long breath. “I hope Alicia can persuade Agnes.”

“Alvin, have you prepared a surprise for me? To be honest, I liked last night's game. I could see your tense and scared face.”
