102: Sudden Attack

While the soldiers were searching for Barrett and his colleagues on that floor, Barrett ran between the walls of that floor, and there were still two guards on the floor above him.

Because the floor was made of glass, it was not difficult to figure out where they were hiding.

Barrett turned his head to look at Ray, and Ray said with composure, “This will be dangerous, we don’t know how much they are, and they are armed!”

Barrett nodded and asked, “Can I count on your support?”

Ray, smiling, glanced at him and said, “I don’t want these morons to kill you. How am I going to prove I’m number one if I can’t beat you!”

Barrett maintained his composure as he glanced at him and said, “Just!”

While he moved at a breakneck pace through the hallways, Ray took a circuitous path to get where he needed to be. A person saw the black monarch as he emerged into the corridor and pointed his attention in his direction.
