135: Nothing To Be Done

Barrett flashed a grin and gave the man his full attention before the man said in a calm tone, “If it resists level three for a couple of seconds, you’re quite a man, but I don’t think that will happen. I’ve never had to use level three at all!”

Barrett maintained his composure as he stared at him and asked, “Do you always stay at two?”

Barrett was able to avoid getting hit in the face by the other man by moving his torso in the nick of time as the other man made a furious and rapid advance toward where Barrett was trying to hit him in the face. This allowed Barrett to avoid getting hit in the face by the other man.

While continuing to do the same thing himself, Barrett tightened his fists and attempted to strike the man in the face. However, the man was going far faster than it appeared that he was traveling.
