209: Unsure Situation

Jay slid over onto his back and leaped when he felt the blade of the sword coming down on the back of his neck. He had been trying to avoid being cut.

When he did, he was able to break away just far enough to do a last-second spin and prevent the following hit from being landed by Satoru’s hands.

Following the moment that their hands made touch with one another, they cast a gaze in one another’s direction.

Satoru smiled as he said, “This is going to hurt!”

In order to take in the atmosphere that Yuyi was creating, Jay momentarily changed his concentration. When we came upon the man, he was in the process of making preparations to deliver a blow to Jay’s body.
