234: Open Sesame

The man took a significant number of breaths before spitting his saliva out onto the grass.

“The man who attacked me, where is he?” Denji asked, smiling.

Denji spent a few minutes gazing at the man before turning his head and examining the area immediately around them.

“I don’t know! You weren’t shocking enough for me to wait for you!” he said loudly.

The man stumbled through the open door, his body swaying from side to side as he tried to maintain his balance.

He was breathing heavily, his chest rising and falling in great heaving gasps as he struggled to catch his breath.

The adrenaline from the fight was still coursing through his veins, and he felt like his heart was going to burst from the sheer intensity of the experience.

He stumbled through the open door and into the bright sunlight, his eyes squinting against the glare as he tried to orient himself.
