29: Too Much Trouble

Barrett opened his eyes just seeing the blue sky telling him what had happened, the dark king had defeated him. Getting up, he looked like a bunch of bushes were on him, and how he himself was leaning against a tree.

“He took the trouble to hide me.” Barrett said that when he woke up. He felt a huge dizziness in his head, and taking a deep breath, he got up. He had no permanent damage, and his body moved perfectly; however, his mind registered over and over again the attacks of that beast.

“His quick pace allows him to go six steps before I react. He’s an amazing guy.”

Taking a deep breath, he reached for his watch. It had been eight hours since his arrival, and now that the number one had beaten him, the Danyos surely expected him to win a few fights, or perhaps this promotion would be of no use.
