AN INTRUDER

"Thomas, thank you for coming through for me, “Maven said with gratitude. Her tone was filled with heartfelt happiness.

Thomas looked at her and shook his head. I already told you, I got your back, my wifey," he smiled and rubbed her softly on the chin.

‘Perhaps you should get going now so you won’t be late for your meeting." Thomas raised his brows as he spoke to her.

“That’s right! Thank you so much." She responded.

Thomas hurriedly made his way out of the enormous tower. He covered his head with the faded hoodie and began to stretch his legs out. Thomas stole a few glances as he watched his back from the corner of his eyes. No one knew who he was yet, but he still had to cover himself. No one must recognise him. The moment he was out, he hopped into a taxi and headed home.

He sat in the taxi for a while, and then he brought out his phone and dialed a number.
