CHAPTER 83SEEING DAD FOR THE FIRST TIMEThe loud alarm from the clock beside Thomas’s bed blared in his ears that he jumped to his feet beads of sweat formed on his skin as he sat on the bed. NO WOUNDSThomas managed to stagger home after the fight with the men. He has always known that someone would come for the medal and the herb so he never bothered to take them to Maven’s house since he knows there would be no privacy.
