CHAPTER 35

Peter was still working on the files when he got a message from the minister to meet him up at a private restaurant. It was just a few minutes to four o'clock.

"I shall be with you shortly, sir," Peter said and quickly put down the receiver. He packed his bags and shitholed his system. After the meeting, he was going home.

He hurried out of the building. He met Victor while walking slowly into his office like he had seen a ghost. He paused and glared at Peter when he approached his door.

"Is there anything you have to tell me, Victor?" Peter questioned.

"Something like what?". Victor straightened up. His eyes brightened as he feigned a confused look at his cousin.

"You know what I am talking about.".

Look, I do not have the time to stand your pettiness today; I am a very busy person. If you do not have any good things to say, move!". Victor snarled.

He had no respect for his boss because he saw Peter as his younger cousin, who only got the opportunity to become his boss before his fat
