Billy woke up to a heavy bang on the door.

"Who is that?" His wife asked in a hushed voice.

I don't know who they are," Billy answered. Mia was not at home. She had gone to a party the previous night, as is typical of her. She doesn't come back early, and on other nights she would sleep out for three days or more until whenever she felt like visiting her parents.
