Peter had just gotten home. He had planned to sort things out by himself and not get involved with the police so it wouldn't get to the public hearing, but just when he got into his house, he found Kayla standing at the center of his sitting room.

“What in heaven's name is happening, Peter? What is this rubbish I see online?” Peter asked casually.

"Kayla, let me explain," Peter said, but as he wanted to speak, Kayla jumped in and blamed the whole incident on herself.

“I caused it, Peter, to her. He didn't want to go there, but Mia told me that she was at the point of death, so I had to go. See, I have my evidence against them.” Peter turned and told her.
