CHAPTER 87

Mia left home for her house. She didn't have the time to explain anything further since she had been freed and her parents now have an idea of what had happened to her.

She hugged her parents before leaving and promised to show up a day or two later. She could still feel the pain in her arms as she got up from the seat. She pinned her feet on the ground and grabbed the food pack her mother had made for her.

At least she wouldn't be getting food from any vendor tonight. She would make do with what she has.

“I'll call you when I get home”. She told her mother when she got in front of the house. Her mother waved at her and walked back into the building.

Mia stood for a while and then she began to walk out of the estate hoping to flag down a car. She had lost her phone in the process and booking a ride has been made difficult for her at the moment. She whistled taking the walk step by step and then a car approached her direction ahead paused and flagged down.
