Storm, and Lucy were taking a stroll on the streets of The Capital.

It was a beautiful city famous for its views and its landmark, the colosseum.

"Ahh!" The System Bearer sighed in relief as he hangs his arms around his head.

"After being involved in so many none-stop actions for weeks, it's nice to have a day of rest." He adds.

"The body needs to rest, even if it's once in a while," Mustang adds.

"We still have the rest of the day before meeting up with the guys, what do you two want to do?" Storm asks.

Tana rubs her chin. "I wanted to have a date with him, now we have a third wheel! What to do?"

Her face lights up as an invincible light bulb appears over her head.

She snaps her fingers and shouts "That's it!"

Storm paused to address the elf. "Why don't we play a game?" She says with a grin.

Storm tilted his head while Lucy chuckles.

"Sure."

"Let's do this thing!"

"We're gonna play hide and seek. Our playing stage will be the entire City. I'll be the seeker since Storm h

It was a rule implemented from the second round upwards whereby Combatants would be given rooms big enough for them to watch the tournament standby until they were called upon for their matches. The room had several beds and resembled that of a penthouse in a hotel. It was located within the colosseum. "This place is solemn!"They all scanned the room with glistening eyes. "So, we'll be watchi

"The Sun Bow..." Kaze scanned his opponent.Mustang tightened his grip on the golden bow as he positions himself and pulls the string of the bow.A golden arrow emerged with flames on the string as Mustang aims at Kaze. "Hahaha! Come, Mustang. Don't you dare hold back!""I don't plan on holding back, Kaze. Sun Purge!" Mustang fired the blazing arrow at the hammer wielder. "His go-to attack eh?"Kaze chuckled as he dashes forward with a broad grin. Without slowing down, he sprints faster as he deflects the fire arrow thus changing its trajectory.Mustang remained unfazed almost as if he was expecting his opponent to deflect his attack with little effort.Kaze closed the distance between them. "I told you, I won't hold back. The weakness of an archer... You're weak when it comes to close-ranged battles!" Kaze roared as he lifts his hammer and electricity gathers around him."The weakness of a brute, they underestimate their opponents easily." Mustang summons an arrow but doesn't pla

Kaze was panting heavily, darting a look at his opponent. The archer standing across him pulled the string of his bow and fired an arrow which splits into multiple arrows. "Yellow Rain!" He shouted. The Lightning User grins as he swings his hammer in multiple directions deflecting all of the arrows that are aimed at him. "Amazing. Ladies and gentlemen, this match-up only keeps adding to the heat!" "It's amazing how Kaze is able to move nimbly with that hammer of his," Mustang says to himself. He smirks as he points at the Lightning User. "Arrow Port!" The several arrows that scattered on the floor of the arena disappeared. It didn't take long before they reappeared in a different spot... The body of the Lightning User. Sticking out from his limbs were dozens of arrows that the archer conjured. Kaze winced in pain as he flexed his muscles causing the arrows to break apart. "Such power..." Mustang said in awe. Kaze bursts into laughter. "That ability of yours makes you the mo

"Hahaha!" Kaze bursts into laughter. "Amazing! You developed the Mana Force ability." "I've leveled up too, Kaze." "Nevertheless, this match is mine for the taking... Volt Boomerang." Kaze hauls his hammer at the archer. Mustang stood unfazed as he stretches his hand forward. "Impossible!" Kaze grasped. Everyone in the colosseum began to mutter over the sight that they beheld. Mustang halted the hammer with one hand. "How?" "This is the power of Mana Force!" The Mana Force is a technique that is developed by chanting weird phrases as markings began to emerge on his body. These markings grant the user the ability to drain the mana of non-living components, these include the mana of strongly focused mana attacks, thus weakening them in the process. "With the Mana Force, every attack that comes from the power of a Magical Item or coated by mana is rendered nearly useless." Kaze already knew that Mana Force drains the mana of all mana-based attacks. But what he di

"Kaze won?" Storm saw what happened. "That was fast, really fast." "Agreed. In the end, Kaze won." "He moved so fast that even with the Future Sight, Mustang was not able to dodge the last attack." The people with fast reactions were able to see the Lightning User's last attack. He threw his hammer forward but clenched the handle and traveled at a speed faster than his "Volt Boomerang" attack. The hammer collided with the growing arrow, setting off the explosion in the process. Kaze was not harmed by the explosion as he had already left the area. At last, the hammer crashed into Mustang's face, knocking him out in the process. "Ladies and gentlemen, after an hour of intense exchanges, the winner has emerged!" The crowd paused their bickering and stood to clap and cheer for not just Kaze, but Mustang as well for putting up a spectacular fight. "What a fight." "So this is the power of Thunder God?" Storm asked no one in particular. His body was shaking as he couldn't control

Neal had a malevolent smile on his face. "I am going to enjoy every moment of this." He licks his lips much to the Elf's dismay. The crowd cheered for Lucy several times before the announcer finally starts the match. "Let the battle commence!"Without wasting any more time, Neal raised his hand to call upon his Magic Item. "Come, Svalinn.""Tempest palm!" Lucy pushes he arms forward creating a strong current of wind that blasted the shield-bearer. "Mana attacks are not physical. So your shield cannot negate the damage." Neal clicked his tongue as Lucy fired more "Tempest palms". The captain of the Shadow Riders Team held his shield up to block the attacks. He was pushed back nonetheless by the strong wind current. "You're keeping your distance," Neal smirked. "Is it because you are weak in physical combat?" He asks. Lucy grits her teeth and chooses not to answer the shield-bearer. Neal activated his full Mana coating. "Tempest palm!" This time he did not try to block the at

"This cage of yours won't hold me for long!" He snars at her. She smirks. "I know it won't. But it'll hold just enough for me to show you the fruits of my labor!" She saw flashes of the training she did in secret when Kaze and Mustang. She trained hard not taking a day of rest just so she could prove to her friends and mostly to herself that she's capable enough to stand on par with them.Neal began emitting a powerful Mana burst to disrupt the cage. "It's only a matter of time." "I have just about enough time!" Lucy declares as she raises her hands. She began to make certain obscure movements. It almost seemed as if she was dancing. A wind current gathered around her. The air was so strong that the spectators had to shield their eyes. "She's able to control this much power?" Neal was stunned by the showcase from the Elf. "You're a witch. A Wind Elf!" He shouts. "You haven't seen anything yet." She pauses and brings her hands down in a way that looked as if she was grabbin

Keith snapped at Neal. "Watch how you address me. I'm the captain here." "Pfft. Have you forgotten that I'm merely a part of your Team for conditional reasons? We're here to win the access codes." "Yeah yeah but that doesn't change the fact that I'm thr boss around here." Neal brushes off Keith's shoulder and made his way to the bed. He sat down and clutches his hands. His body was shaking excessively as he lowers his head. "That girl was stupid enough to awaken my taste for blood.""You almost killed her. The gate to the three realms was a portal of unimaginable power and complexity, he quickly shut the portal, severing the connection between the three realms that had caused so much chaos. The air around the gate shimmered with a lot of energy. The atm

“What are you waiting for?” Immediately, he heard the voice, he turned and looked at Storm in shock, not knowing what to say. Derek stared at Storm speechless, he was supposed to be dead. At that moment, Storm was more like a celestial being. All his injuries had been healed, and he was looking like a newly transformed person. The transformation was so astonishing that it left him speechless, his mind raced as he stared at Storm. How was this possible? He should be dead? Derek quickly glanced at Storm's right hand and noticed it was intact, he looked around him but still saw the severed hand beside him. How was that possible? This shouldn't be happening. It wasn't a part of his plans, everything he had learnt about the Orb didn't have to do with this. Could it being a dead person back to life?Storm stood there, looking strong and his body glowed as bright as the orb. But much to his shock, he was not attacked. Rather, everywhere was calm, making him frown. Still, he walked forward, his steps echoing in the eerie silence of the grand hall. Stepping into the palace, he felt a sense of warmth overcome him, as though he had just arrived home, and this made him anxious. The warmth was unexpected, he hadn't felt this warmth in a long time. The last time he felt this warm was at the garden when the Orb was still there and this thought unsettled him deeply. He had expected more creatures, resistance, a fight, or at the very least, Mage breaker or the King of hell. Storm thought about the King of hell and what he would look like. He wondered why he didn't have a better name instead of the King of hell, he also thought about the Magebreaker. Where they working together? Three days later, a disorganized Storm stood at the edge of the forest, his eyes fixed on a huge palace in the distance. The palace didn't look anything like the realm, it looked too perfect, not a single thing missing from it, its grand spires piercing the sky, and its massive walls adorned with intricate carvings and ceiling to floor windows. The surrounding area was like a garden, it had beautiful flowers surrounding it with winding paths leading up to the palace gates. Even though Storm was disheveled and looking wretched, his clothes torn and dirt-streaked, there was a fire in his eyes, an undeniable energy coursing through his veins. His life over the past three days took a toll on him but his determination hadn't changed. As he stood there, catching his breath, he couldn't help but think about everything he had been through and what he had endured. He looked around the realm and sighed again, he thought about all that he would have to fight before getting to the palace. Storm looked around and only noticed the hooting owls sitting on dead trees. They stared at him wide-eyed as he passed, this made his skin crawl. He stared at the tall mountains that seemed to mock him. He knew the palace would be on the other side of the mountain and this made him even more worried, he would have to fight a lot of creatures before getting there. Storm thought about all his friends, he had to do this for them. His thoughts shifted to his family, why did they keep a book about the orb in the library if they didn't want anyone to find it? Storm had never met his parents, they died when he was only a child so he didn't have any memories of them, just his grandfather. His grandfather had always told him he was stronger than he thought, he never believed him but
