The Tempests rushed over to their captain after he and his brothers had brought down the last dragon. The cheers echoed across the battlefield as they marveled at the fallen beast's massive form.

"Haha, as expected of the captain. You slayed the beast!" shouted one of the Tempests, clapping Storm on the shoulder.

"Hehe," Storm replied with a modest chuckle, but his gaze soon hardened as it fell back on the Phantom Lord standing in the distance, Garrick, his estranged father.

"Ohoo," Garrick murmured with a smirk. "What's this? You plan on fighting me with a mini-army?"

"You're one to talk," Daniel shot back. "You summoned hundreds of those ugly shadow thingies!" He gestured toward the shadowy remains that littered the ground, still fading away into the ether.

Garrick's smile widened, revealing sharp teeth beneath his thin lips. "Very well, you kids joining won't change a thing. We have already won."
