Chapter One Hundred Eighteen

This week, Natalie was on a roll. She was doing things that would have surprised her best friends, well, the problem was, she had none. Back at college, she was the definition of a mean girl and recently, she cut out all of them, after all, nothing useful has been out of it.

And since the same applied to the interns, since she didn’t form any special bond with them as she had been busy making up things about Milton, and claiming she was from a prestige family, they were not her friends either.

The interns noticed her demeanor change but they didn’t get around to asking. Natalie could be anything she wanted to be and no one would do anything. As for now, she was unapproachable.

Most of the interns have realized her absence at their corner office and if she hadn’t been summoned by Mr. Genya frequently, they would have thought Natalie have quit.
