Chapter One Hundred Thirteen

Milton’s eyes brightened up at what Bryson whispered to him. Tiwari for a change wasn’t on his phone. Mr. Genya was admiring the restaurant while Natalie was trying so hard not to squirm.

She didn’t expect Milton to invite her out for lunch, in addition, to speak to his cousin as if she didn’t exist.

“Why did he work menial jobs when he came from a rich family? What about Bryson, if they are related, how did Milton hand me over to him like that? And then, Bryson handed me over to Gabe?”

These questions were beginning to cause a headache to her. She was at fault here. She had behaved like a hillbilly in the past, severally humiliating Milton.

“But why didn’t he tell me he was from a rich family? Why did he let me walk all over him? Was he playing with my feelings? Is that why he pushed me to the next person?” Natalie cussed fiercely internally.
