Chapter Twenty-Eight

Gianna was busy tracing his steps. She had to report on him before the end of the business hours. It wasn’t a walk in the park since he was a trained ex-soldier. He knew where to look. Where to hide. Where the dark spots were.

Nevertheless, Gianna, Brianna’s protégé, loved every minute of it. It was a wonderful game of mouse vs mouse. Perfect.

A knock startled her. Her eyes fell on Fae. A 22-year-old lady with exquisite taste in computers.

“Who might it be?” She contemplated. Just like Brianna, Gianna didn’t receive visitors. Luckily, she and Fae were determined to keep it that way.

“Do you need me to?” Fae asked. The sound of her keyboard was loud and fast. A beautiful melody to Gianna’s ears.

“No. I will do it.” Gianna said and left the dark computer room. “Brianna,” Gianna mumbled as she stared at the video on the tablet. She stared at her watch, thinking she might have lost track of time and it was already late.
